We used Pampers from the hospital because we didn’t have ANYTHING at home! I thought I had time to get everything, but I went into labor 3.5 weeks early. The Pampers left a jelly like substance on my son, so I quickly decided I didn’t like those! Huggies were ok, but not as long as some other brands. Luvs have WAY too much perfume on them and I couldn’t handle the awful smell. I also didn’t want to expose my little newborn to that!
Again, generic diapers were great! I didn’t care for the Wal-Mart brand, but Target’s Up& UP are my favorite. We also use Baby Basics from the grocery store. They are both longer than the more expensive brands. If your baby has blowouts, you want longer diapers!
WIPES: Don’t use the wipes that have all of that fragrance on them either! It’s not necessary. I use the generic brand from Wal-Mart or Target. The sensitive skin ones are great, and because they don’t have all of that yucky perfume on them, they are great for wiping little hands and faces!
